WHERE TO STUDY HOW TO MAKE RHODIUM
HI, I AM A JEWELER IN CALIFORNIA AND I'D LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS A PLACE THAT TEACHES YOU HOW TO MAKE RHODIUM, I KNOW THAT I HAVE TO LEARN SOME CHEMISTRY BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS A PLACE THAT TEACHES YOU THIS SPECIFIC COURSE. I AM REALLY INTERESTED IN LEARN SO PLEASE IF SOMEONE CAN GIVE ME SOME INFO I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS.

Make Rhodium? Are we going back to the old Alchemy days of potions, unctions, ethers and good old phlogiston (no lab should be without it)?
Or do you really mean how do you plate rhodium? If it is the latter then you should look through the many good books on the subject (go to the link on this site), or maybe with a bit of luck you could try googling it and see what you come up with.
Although, if you do find a way to make rhodium, from say ether please let me know, I think the idea could be marketed.

Rhodium is an element. You probably aren't equipped to make it
(linear accelerator? Have to call CERN).
Go to this sites search engine and type in "rhodium plating" and it will pop up much more than you ever wanted to know about the subject.

He may have mispoke, and wants to isolate Rhodium. Here's a link that gives a basic outline of whats involved.

Unfortunately rhodium is a chemical element and you cannot easily make it. The only way may be in a nuclear physics research facility, but it will cost you $millions to get any! I notice you live in California, and I recall reading somewhere that a lot of metal mineral deposits are found in or around tectonic plate edges, so it may be worth you looking around the San Andeas Fault. seriously, you can buy rhodium from salts from chemicasl supply houses and the use them to make plating solutions. Alternatively, you can buy pure rhodium metal and make pure rhodium jewellery.

If it were me, I'd just buy it, because making it would pretty much require a fusion reactor. Or a star.
