Chrome plating on Inconel 718 material
2005
Dear sir,
I am facing rough plating and adhesion problem for chrome plating on Inconel material.
I tried sandblasting and nickel strike prior to plating ( with live loading ) and still have the problem. Please recommend a detail process flow and required facility to be able to achieve good chrome plating on Inconel 718 material.
Thank you very much

Mr Chan,
Have you try to search at finishing.com search engine here at this site. There is a lot of good examples for these material pretreatment steps before nickel and chromium plating.
