Ultra Flat Black Anodize - Specification?

I am a supplier quality technician at an ophthalmic & analytical equipment manufacturer in the northeast. Concerning an anodize referred to as "Ultra Flat Black Anodize", is there a specification or process number that I can test parts to as far as resistance to scratching, hardness, flaking, residue when rubbed. How much abrasion can it take before the coating is removed? Is there a hard and soft version of this? What should the call out be on the drawing so there is no confusion from various finishing suppliers? Appearance is important in our field so we usually go through a learning curve with any change in suppliers. We would like to improve on the approval process regarding acceptance criteria.

Thanks,
