Powdercoating wheels to take out the flash

I would be considered a consumer. I would like to know if someone could give me some information on the durability of powdercoating on aluminum rims. I own a 2003 Chevrolet ZR2, if your familiar with the stock rims on this truck you know that they are quite flashy. Unlike most people I'd prefer not to have them stick out. I'm wondering how durable powder coating on aluminum would stand up to off-roading conditions. I would also be interested in a Canadian price range to have four 15' aluminum rims coated. Thanks for your time!
