Thin layer of glass coatings or ceramic coatings on polycarbonate lens




Dear sir,
I am looking for a process of Thin layer of transparent glass coating or ceramic coatings which can also be very abrasive resistant on Poly carbonate material.The polycarbonate material is being used to manufacture prismatic lens. Please if possible then advice on above.

Many people do this for eyeglasses. I would look for information on opthalmic coatings.

Typically they deposit SiO2 on polycarbonate by e-beam evaporation with an ion beam assist. Others have used plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition.
