What is Pickling Process?




Respected Sir,
I have get some problem of pickling process of s.s. after the pickling process the materials look like some corrosion.
I am waiting your answer.

Your question is too broad, Mr. Patel. You haven't said anything at all about the process yet except that it doesn't work because it causes corrosion. What type of parts, what type of stainless steel, what pickling acid, what temperature, what immersion time. With complete information someone may be able tohazard a guess at likely causes.

hello sir,
I'm an young metallurgist.At present I'm working with STAINLESS STEEL LOW NICKEL 1 (SSLN1)grades.I have noticed a problem in pickling process.Where scales are not removed properly..
its a problem ever here.We use acid pickling(HF+HNO3) and electrolyte pickling(neolyte)..
SO can you give me an idea about pickling of this grades..
