Anodize thickness

The blueprint general notes states:

HARD ANODIZE PER MIL-A-8625 / MIL-PRF-8625 [on DLA], TYPE III, CLASS 1

What is the thickness required by the spec?

Thanks in advance.

I strongly suggest you obtain a copy of the standard.
The default thickness would be .002" ± .0004 unless otherwise stated on requisition document.

Paragraph 3.7.2.1 under Type III coatings states " Unless otherwise specified ... the nominal thickness of the coating shall be 0.002 inch"
