Salt spray test failure as per ASTM B 117

I'm facing problem in salt spray test as per ASTM B117. our samples are failing with in 24 hours.

Our plating is 2 micron copper 12 micron nickel and .2 micron chrome . pl advice how to achive 50 hours withstand in salt spray test. Is it the plating thickness ok for with stand 50 hours in saltspray test.

Your nickel thickness is insufficient. Double the nickel thickness, make certain the substrate is free of defects prior to plating, keep the nickel solution absolutely free of suspended solids.

If you still fail, change to duplex nickel and microporous chrome. then you will pass for certain.
