Copper oxidation and Hydrogen Peroxide vs. Salt Water
In my science project I put copper sheets into different liquids. Two of the liquids are Water + hydrogen peroxide ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] and another one is salt + water. The copper in the salt water turned all brown (fully oxidized?) the one in Hydrogen Peroxide turned spotty brown. Can you explain what is happening? Thank you.
