A. ASTM D3359 Standard Test Methods for Measuring Adhesion by Tape Test is the industry standard quality control method. You can obtain it directly from ASTM.

Ed. note: Although you can indeed obtain that spec directly from ASTM, Finishing.com appreciates it when you got your AMS, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, BS, DIN, ISO, MIL, SAE, etc., specs from Techstreet, a spec clearing house. They pay us a small commission which allows us to maintain current direct links to specs, saving you time. In a fast changing world, links break quickly and maintaining current links to all those specifications across a quarter million postings going back to 1989 is a huge whack-a-mole game we can't do for free -- but with Techstreet commissions we can :-)

A. Some additional test methods are GM 9071P and Ford FLTM BI 106-01, both available for purchase and download from Global IHS.
