How to remove purple PVC primer stains from cement?

My husband was cleaning pipes with the purple primer in preparation to glue them, some got on the cement patio. How can I remove it?

Try using a mild solution of muriatic acid this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] and water. If it doesn't remove the stain increase the acid to water ratio.

Use only if this is bare concrete. The acid will remove any coating or sealer also.

That seems like an intelligent answer by Brian .... but the next time you go cementing, try using some CLEAR primer. The HCl will 'remove' the cement partially, it is useless, I think, to use any other method.

The use of coloured primer was so that inspectors could see if the pipe had been preprimed ...experts, such as some thermoplastic fabricators, never, ever use the coloured primer and stick only to clear primers.

See the library ... and Having a Leak on the Job article.
