Soldering nickel-plated battery tabs
2005
Hi,
I am trying to connect 3 2Ah lithium polymer cells in series by soldering it onto a PCB.The connecting nickel tabs are 0.2mm thick by 7mm wide. Please advice how this can be done. Pre-soldered battery packs from Korea have even amount of solder on each tab, they don't look like they are hand welded.
Thanks,

Hi Shih,
You need an experience person to do it aternatively you can use ultra sonic weld.
