What screws to use?
I am intending to fix cedar battens 38mm x 38mm to an aluminium box section 20mm x 20mm x 3mm (wall) which is then in turn fixed to a 65mm mild steel angle which has been hot dipped galvanised. Is it ok to use a galvanised screw to attach the cedar to the aluminium box or will there be a reaction which causes the aluminium to corrode? The intention is for this to be used externally so there will be exposure to rain water etc.

Aluminum and Zinc are very close together but tin (about 7% of galvanize) is far off, however, all three metals are on the negative side of Hydrogen. Chromate the aluminum and try not to scratch it too much.
