Metal embossing sheets for art project, how to protect from tarnish?
I am a volunteer with a children's chronic disease organization and we are creating an art project made by the children and auctioned at the yearly gala. Our project consists of brass, copper, and aluminum sheets (36 gauge) that have been embossed by the children. We plan to create a collage of these pieces, Mount and display them in a 3-D effect for a wall hanging. My question relates to the inevitable tarnishing of the brass and copper sheets. Is there any product we could spray, paint, or dip these sheets into (each sheet is about 6 x 8 inches)that would protect them for years?
