How to get #3 finish on stainless steel

Where can I find technical guidance of how to achieve a #3 finish on a stainless steel part?

Your help on where to find this info will be greatly appreciated.

Please give more info. What a kind of finish you are looking for? Is that a passivation, polish etc.? If you don't have that information, tell me, for what will that part used for.
