FDA Rules for ferrous metals
I am developing a knife sharpener for commercial use. It will include a diamond chip plated surface of a carbon steel plate. Do FDA rules allow use of ferrous metal in this application? Or, must I use stainless steel or some other non-ferrous metal in all cases?
