We want anti corrosion SS316





Dear sir ,

I got your address from internet , we want one small help from you. We're in the business of drinking water purification. Sir we have one problem , we are using one conductivity sensor SS 316/SS-310/SS 316 L roll having 16 mm dia/ all these are giving corrosion problem in our system. So is it any good material you have or you can suggest us, we will be very grateful to you.

Dear Dwivedi,

316L SS offers better corrosion resistance. If you are sure that what you are using is 316 or 316L SS then check for the system parameters.You have mentioned about water purification. What type of chemicals you are using for that. Look for the corrosion of stainless steel in that medium. Also check for the materials which resist corrosion attack in that medium. Corrosion Handbook will be of help to you.
