Silver Plating for Magnesium Die Casting

Does anybody know of any issues with Silver Plating for Magnesium Die Casting. Thanks

Sorry, I don't know what you mean, Andy. Are you sort of implying that you presume it's a chip shot to plate silver onto magnesium? Nothing that involves plating is a chip shot unless you are a highly skilled and experienced electroplater. Or are you saying you already did it but now worry about potential long-term incompatibilities? Please try to give us some context because "any issues" isn't clear :-)

... but if not, you can find libraries which have copies on WorldCat.org

The Dow Magnesium booklet, "Operations in Magnesium Finishing", 1990, contains several pages on electroplating on magnesium. If I am the only person in the world that has a copy then I am tired of sending out Xerox copies at my expense.
