Salt spots on my chrome rims
I live in Nebraska and the weather here is not exactly great all the time! I have acquired some salt spots on my chrome rims. Some of them after cleaning, even look to be a bit rusty! Is there anything that will help my rims look new again?

Not exactly sure what you mean by "salt spots", but if there is beginning rust, then the steel is corroding through microscopic pores/cracks in the plating. You can't fix that except by re-plating. Keep them as free of salt and as dry as you can to slow the process. Jeffrey Holmes, CEF Spartanburg, South Carolina Re-plate or re-polish, I suggest taking some time and polishing them back to a high luster and seeing if the spots where there was salt end up rusting again, if so it's time to get them re-plated. In my bathroom The metal faucets and fixtures (which I believe is Chrome plated) has pitted and rusted. Plus there is always a coating of deep grey or black dust like substance on everything else in the room. This includes tile and walls plus the fixtures. What can be causing this and how do I fix it.
Thank you
