How to anodize a gas cylinder
For example, here is an alloy Aluminum gas cylinder. To protect the cylinder from corrosion, we want to anode oxidize the inner wall and outer wall, but due to its special structure---smaller openning and larger cavity,it is hard to anode oxidize the inner wall. I have tried several times by usual means, but failed. I am earger to know whether it can be achived and how.
Thanks for your help!

The best to accomplish this would be to insert small cathode rods inside the cylinder while coating.

Thank you Mr Green. And is it necessary for me to make the aqua inside the cylinder flow. For while the interaction go on ,the acid in inside the cylinder will decrease alot.

I've anodized "gas bottles" in the past, and for the short time they were in the tank (1 hour), having the electrolyte "stagnant" inside the bottle didn't prove to be detrimental.
