Mild steel coated with copper sheet

I am looking for a copper coating of 0.5mm on Mild steel sheet of 3mm thickness. This is the only material that needs to be coated on the sheet. There should not be any porosity on the coated sheet. One side coating is only needed. The precoating if any for mild steel sheet if any may be specified. The coating should not peel off. If it peels under what conditions would that happen.

Kindly reply at the earliest.

Your need is a bit vague, Polavaram, so it's not clear if simply gluing a copper foil to the steel sheet would be adequate--which would surely be the easiest and least expensive way! Foil is routinely glued to circuit board stock.

Also, as for freedom from peeling, you would need to specify the application and exposure requirements the part will see. Trying to do it your way, i.e., specifying under what conditions it will peel is far too open-ended--for example, a particular adhesive might peel if walked over by 53 large African elephants wearing rubber boots in the rain, but that answer would probably not be useful to you. Please describe the conditions the part might see, then an educated guess can be made as to whether a particular adhesive and prep method, or any adhesive and prep method would work, or whether electroplating or another technology would be needed to meet that adhesion requirement. Thanks!
