Wetting agent in EN activator

Sir,

I want to start electroless Nickel . I have this doubt. Is it necessary to have wetting agent in Activator solution? In case of colloidal activator what role does wetting agent play? IS it to stabilise the colloid as well as to wet the surface. or in case of True soln, must be add wetting agent although we may have added a stabilizer to stabilise the activator solution?

Many thanks in advance,

Sir, I would like to know if Activating solutions for ABS plastics have high Copper tolerance? Also repeating my question of whether they are likely to have wetting agent?
