I AM A FINAL YEAR ENGG. STUDENT. I HAD DECIDED MY PROJECT ON SAND BLASTING AND ZINC COATING. I FOUND THIS PROCESS AS A VERY REAR IN OUR REGION. SO I AM LOOKING FURTHER FOR THE LITERATURE(INFORMATION) ABOUT HOW IT WORKS? WHEN IT FAILS? HOW ITS MAINTANCE IS DONE?ETC. GENTLEMAN HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF THIS PROCESS PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU.

You have named two very broad areas of manufacturing technology. It's rather like saying you picked birds and tropical plants for your final year biology project :-)
Zinc coating can be done by hot dip galvanizing, flame spraying, mechanical galvanizing, sherardizing, electroplating, immersion plating, dip-spin coating, painting, cladding, and maybe a few other technologies I missed. I think you should pick one of these smaller fields, then read a book on that subject, and then decide what issues you would like to address. Success with your project!
