Calcium Deposits possibly in my bath water

There are little white solid forms that have lately begun to appear in my bath tub. Are these calcium deposits, and if so, are they harmful when ingested? My two year old as with most little ones like to put things in his mouth.

I don't believe that if they are calcium deposits they will be harmful. But if you are still worried you can get a water softener (think of it as a heavy duty water purifier) and install it on the intake of your water heater it will take a month or so to work all the calcium deposits out of the heater entirely.

Well anywho, I hope I've helped. Keep in mind if it is real mineral calcium from your water it will do no worse than calcium supliments. Too much can be bad, but I don't think that it will do any harm, just keep your kid distracted with things that are more entertaining.
