Procedure: safe photo-etching of silverplated objects?

I'm an artist/professsor of painting/printmaking/drawing. I'd like to have the procedure for etching photo-images onto silver-plated brass (antique dishes, etc.) including chemicals/safety/health procedures. These images wouldn't necessarily be printed, but more likely the original plate or three-dimensional (dementianol) product would be presented as l'objet de l'art, if you get my drift. So nice to say "Hullo!" to Scotland again!

Try to find nearest KODAK dealer. KODAK produces resists and developers for photo etching. Good luck!
