What coating for needle track cams

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF COATING IS DONE ON THE SURFACE OF NEEDLE TRACK CAMS IN CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINES.

Do you already have the coated part and are trying to identify it, or are you supposed to specify or do a coating to a new or existing bare part? If the first situation, what color and finish does the coating have, does it rust? If the second, how thick can the coating be and what is the substrate or base metal? Options are hard chrome (bluish white), plain or composite electroless nickel (slightly yellow or brown), TiN (gold color), carburized or nitrided steel (gray).
