Searching for "name holders" for cabinet

My husband made a very nice cabinet for me and I am looking for name holders to put on the front of four drawers. I have searched everywhere and no one knows how to get a hold of these. They are on everything these days, so I don't know why they are so hard to track down. If anyone can help I would appreciate it very much.

I think they're called label holders. They may or may not be in local hardware stores but they're readily available through places like Amazon. Good luck.

There are several woodworking catalogs out there that have what I think you're looking for. There are at least two different styles. One is a reproduction of library catalog drawer handles. These have the half down-loop handle with the square open frame above. You put a paper label in the square frame. Usually brass. I believe there are also just frames available. Do searches for woodcrafters catalog or woodworkers supply catalog. I used to get these catalogs all the time but don't anymore. What you want is out there, you just have to find the right catalog.

Follow-up....Go to woodworker.com...scroll down and click on cabinet & furniture hardware picture. Scroll through the little window for furniture pulls and knobs...then scroll down 'til you see the page numbers at the bottom...try page 11...filecard frames or holders or something like that. A couple bucks a pop.

Ed. note: Thanks for the effort with those site navigation details, John, but next time just a vendor name will be good enough :-)
This site is intended as a permanent reference, and the chance of site navigation instructions working a month from now, let alone years from now aren't good :-)   Other options for Christy include Rockler and Joann.
