Formula for anti fouling paint

2004

Dear Sir,

Pls. kindly advise the basic formulation of Anti fouling paint as we would like to develop this kind of paint to serve the local market here.

Thanks for any help on this.

Tell me there's more than one Dow Chemical Co., as the one that I'm familiar with certainly wouldn't be asking how to formulate an anti-foulant. They contain copper, Herry, that's the anti-foulant. There are dozens of brands; you could buy a quart of each from a boating store and do some testing and reverse engineering of the formulations. Stay away from organo-tins please. Good luck.
