What High Temp Plating is available
We are suppling a # 8 x 1/2 Hex Tek (self Drilling) Screw 410 Stainless Steel in an application requiring High Temp Rating. Currently they are Dacromet plated, which only goes to 400 -500 deg F. we are needing a plating that will go to at least 1000 -1300 deg without showing signs of rust. Any ideas?

Nickel has a melting point of over 2600 °F., Ed. I think nickel plating might prove fine for this application. Good luck.
