Plating on Plastics
Seeking literature on plating on plastics specifically electroless, or electrodeposited deposits of copper, or nickel onto basic plastics such as thermosetting (epoxies, phenolics, polyesters, etc.) and thermoplastics (acrylics, fluorocarbons, polyesters, polysulfones, etc.).

Hi Tom, I use a process from Fidelity for plating onto all types of non-conductors. It seems to work very well, although I only have a small benchtop line. The name is Ultraplate and they may send you a sample of it. You can give me a call if you like also.

I am interested in Plating Phenolic Plastic, Jim said that
"Ultraplate" works. I can't seem to locate a company called Ultraplate that does this process. Can you help?

Ed. note: Jim was apparently saying that Ultraplate is a product of Fidelity [Chemical Co., Newark, NJ], Kevin.
