Protecting oceanfront copper bar top
I am building a copper bartop for my hotel which is oceanfront and exposed to salt air. Do you recommend using a polyurethane or epoxy coat on it or keeping it natural? thanks

I think polyurethane is a better choice than epoxy, but whether you want to keep it shiny by coating it or let it age by leaving it bare is something it's hard to help you with from this distance.

Nick,
Another option is to use a good lacquer. We use one that is specifically made for copper. With 4-5 coats, you should get up to 10 years protection in salt water environment.
