Zinc is amphoteric and dissolves in both acid and alkali. You are trying to determine what corrosion inhibitor you should add to a zinc plated radiator or cooling tower as a boiler treatment or cooling tower treatment, for example, in order to delay corrosion?

Have you browsed the science direct (Elsevier science web page). You can find a whole lot of information about corrosion of zinc in various medium and about the corrosion inhibitors for zinc in different medium.
