Jeweler asks what is 18 kgp white gold

Could someone tell if there is a certain hallmark for 18 kgp white gold . We have just started stocking this line of jewelry and we are told that it is white gold plated, does this mean that its a base metal plated with white gold or white gold plated with rhodium. The items are marked with 18kgp which I assume means 18 carat gold plated. We imported the items from hong kong if that helps. Also will they start to yellow over time. As you can tell I'm very confused by all this so any help will be a bonus.

Thanks
