Colorizing Aluminum Handles
I am looking for a way to "color" small aluminum handles that are used in the medical industry. The color of the handles are gray in color. I am looking to put numbers and letters on them that can be seen at a distance of a couple of feet. These handles will go through autoclaving so I would like for the numbers and letters to remain on the handles after several autoclaving processes.

First anodize all over and dye a contrasting color like black or leave clear, then seal in a very high purity nickel acetate seal at very high temperature. Be sure to leave a contact so you can make contact again.
Engrave without scratching the finished part,.
Rerack in a bare place, clean the organic soil with dish washing compound,DO NOT ETCH, stay in deox a minimum time, anodize again (if the first seal was right it will mask the other color), now dye in a contrasting color like red or green, then finally seal again.
Briefly anodize two times. Perfectly sealed anodizing is your maskant for the second anodizing. Call me on the phone if you want to talk.
