Aluminum gets black from etching

2004

I have no industry but I work at home and manufacture gift items in small scale.

can anyone solve my problem?

PROBLEM WHICH I FACE IS THAT WHEN ETCHING ALUMINUM SHEET OR PLATE IT GETS BLACK SPOTS AND SOME TIME WHOLE SHEET. I USE BELGIUM MADE 98% PURE SHEETS.

THANKS

Try using a desmut bath. This chemical is used in anodizing in between etching and anodizing. Look at www.focuser.com/anodize.html.
