Copper finish manipulation
I am currently exploring the use of copper in my art work. I would like to achieve a blue/green finish on copper wire. Is this process called oxidizing, pickling, or chemical aging? How do I achieve this effect?

Well, it's not called pickling, but I guess the other two terms are valid. "Patinizing" would probably be the most common term. We have a FAQ and dozens if not hundreds of letters on the subject on line here.
