Coating aluminum onto steel

Hello,

I have a steel gas tank that I would like to look aluminum. can I get it plated with aluminum?

Probably not. Although it is not impossible to plate aluminum [Alumiplate does it], it is a very specialized process that is probably inappropriate for a one-off consumer item. Find a paint that you like.

Hello, thanks for the get back. What can I do to get it to look like aluminum? Is there a satin chrome plating?
