7th grade rust rate project

Hi, I am a 7th grade student in Florida and I am doing a science fair project on this question- "Does salt and other containements (im using vinager, a gas furnace, and Coke) effect the rate of rusting?" I have all of my information, but I have one problem. I don't know where to hang the metal sheets I am using. I am suppose to hang them somewhere outside, but where?

To the extent possible, depending on what is available to you, hang them outside in the full sun, where they will not be dripped upon by the roof or trees. Make it 'official' by exposure testing just like real parts: aim the biggest surface or most significant surface facing South (the strongest sun) at about a 45 degree angle to the ground (halfway between vertical and horizontal). If possible, do that by pounding some sticks into the ground to hold them, and use plastic tie wraps or twist ties to fasten the parts to the sticks.

Type "outdoor-exposure-testing" into yahoo or google or other search engine and you may find some pictures of "official" exposure testing to include in your project.
