Brass cleaner for cartridge cases?

I'm looking for a better and faster method of removing outside tarnish and burnt powder from the inside of my cartridge cases (brass).

Better and faster than what current method, Gene? There are case cleaners starting from simple chemicals and going on all the way to tumbling barrels and abrasive media.

I have tried all of the products mentioned in your reply, but I'm not satisfied with the results. Several years ago I purchased some once fired military brass from a local source. This man told me he used a solution with a mild detergent to achieve the results I am trying to duplicate. Unfortunately this man died several years ago and his family moved.

acetone this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] Warning! highly Flammable! seems to work reasonably well. I have used Q-tips this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] soaked with it and swabbed it onto the cartridge case. It removes most of the crud...not all, but it's a start. Hope this helps!

Try this link: http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Lobby/1221/casecln.htm I have used a similar recipe that works well.
