Polishing galvanized pipe as decorative columns
2004
I am attempting to polish 6" galvanized culvert pipes as decorative columns and am hoping to achieve a chrome like finish that will be low maintenance. I have tried used Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] and am happy with results so far except that the pitted areas retain the black oxidation.
Any suggestions for a better way to get a chrome like finish and a lacquer that will protect it?
