Conversion Coating Process (Chromating?) for Mazak (Zamak)

Q. Sir,
Kindly suggest any conversion coating for zinc based alloy (Mazak component). No white rust should be noticed up to 240 hours.

Q. We are an automobile ancillary manufacturing fuel management parts made of aluminium alloy (ADC-12) and zinc alloy (Mazak). We chromate our machined parts with hexavalent chromium for surface treatment purposes. However now we have heard from our customers that trivalent chromium is a better option than hexavalent chromium from the environmental aspect. Kindly let us know of the process of trivalent chromating.
