sulfuric acid pickling

I am presently using only sulfuric Acid for acid pickling at room temperature of long M.S, EN 8 and other material bars which have to be drawn out afterwards to the required size. At present the process is slow and also the reaction liberates gases which is very suffocating. Is there any way by which I can fasten up the process and get rid of the gases evolved ?

Our company obtained a US Patent #6,294,072 B1 on September 25, 2001. You can obtain it from the USPTO Website. It would be in the public domain in India.
