Succinimide usage in metal, electronics, and semiconductor industry

1999

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I am Business Researcher in DSM Fine Chemicals Austria. We are producer of appr. 75 different INTERMEDIATEs - and Succinimide is one of them. We are selling SI worldwide - and some applications go into above mentioned direction.

We are interested in more detailed market know how of this application of SI.

If you can provide any information on this topic (esp. on SI) or on this business as well as general information of this market worldwide please let me know.

What are the steps from our Intermediate to the end-user?

How price-sensitive is SI in this application?

Who are the main "players" in this application field: making blends from SI and manufacturers/end-user?

What is the benefit of SI (in comparison to other chemicals for this application)?

What are competitive products, price-levels, etc.

How do you estimate future development in this industry/especially in connection with SI-applications?

Can you recommend books/market studies/contact partners, etc.?

What are your experience in marketing those products (e.g. in comparison to cyanide baths, etc.)?

thanks for your response best regards

I guess it "doesn't hurt to ask", Mr. Buchberger, but this sounds more like a mid-sized project for a marketing consultant than a set of questions that is likely to be researched and answered for free in a public forum :-)

Good luck though.
