Clear coating lifted the paint on truck frame

I had my truck frame sand blasted and then I primed it using an epoxy primer. I followed that with 3 coats of tremclad black gloss rust paint. I seen tremclad clear coat and it said that it works on rust paint so I though it would work perfect to protect my paint. I waited the 72 hours it suggested and sprayed on the clear coat. I checked on it an hour after I sprayed it on and it looked great but 3 hours later when I checked on it again it lifted off a lot of the paint. It bubbled up all the paint but didn't touch the primer. What should I do now, are the parts that didn't lift good, I was thinking about using a hand wire brush to take off the bad parts and repaint it. Also what went wrong?

Thanks,

The Tremclad paint is a long oil alkyd. This type of alkyd takes a long time to dry. When you clear coated over it the solvent from the clear swelled the not completely cured alkyd and some of it lifted off.
