Is Tremclad paint toxic?

2004

Good Day

I have a large galvanized steel water vessel for my animals. It has rusted inside at the bottom. Can I use Tremclad paint to restore it for feeding my horses? In other words, is it toxic or not when used in this way? I appreciate your help in this matter.

Best regards,

I have the exact same situation as this lady and I would like to receive the same information. Can a galvanized steel water vessel be refinished with Tremclad without any risk of toxicity to the animals?

Ed, note: thanks for participating, folks, but this may be a better question to ask Tremclad than to ask a public forum. Good luck.
