Which enamel should we use for cast iron
2004
Dear Sir
We have a problem with word enamel on cast iron job. We want to know whether it is enamel painting or enamel only. Can anybody clear this confusion--what is the difference between enamel paint and coating, what do we have to use, please help.
Thank you

Unfortunately, colloquial words like "enamel" simply don't convey or imply a complete specification. The customer could be expecting vitreous enamel, or he could be willing to pay only for a quick blast from a $2 spray can of "enamel". Probably both :-)
This cannot be sorted out the way you would like. Rather, the specification has to be fleshed out.
