Treatment of metal plating industry waste water

One of my friend is working with me on the treatment of waste water from the metal plating industry having cromium content. We are bacically Environmental Engineers. We want to know the available treatment methods for the removal of hexavalent cromium. Herewith you are requested to kindly reply our problem?
