Spot test for chromate on aluminum?
Greetings fellow metallists - Does anyone know of a reliable spot test for the presence of chrome on aluminum. We sometimes get in parts to be re-worked - it would be good to know if they have been previously chromate conversion coated. Thanks for the help!
