Continuous galvanizing: Zinc is Peeling Off

Q. In our CGLs, we are facing problem of Zinc peel off. Can we get guidance on CR quality, Annealing Furnace parameters, PSA quality and ratios required.

Hello cousin Sharad. If you send photos to mooney@finishing.com for posting here, and you supply any info you have about your CRS quality, your annealing furnace parameters, your PSA quality, the ratios you use, etc. people will probably be willing and able to help you work out what is wrong. That's what this forum is for.

But numerous large & lengthy books have been written about hot-dip galvanizing, consultants earn their livings by fixing such problems, and it's simply not realistic to expect anyone to start writing long chapters on each of those issues in response to your posting. An excellent guideline for public forum questions is to not expect the answer to be more words or involve more time than the question :-)

Luck and Regards,
