Want info on metal pre-treatment

I work for a trading company. We supply raw materials in making furnitures like wood, metal, wicker, poles, boxes, and paints. I would like to know more about metal pre-treatment, starting formulations and possible suppliers of raw materials in putting up a metal pre-treatment. We are a member of a group of companies, our sister companies produces furnitures made of wood, metal and indigenous materials. The demand for metal furnitures are increasing and we need to protect the metal from corrosion before painting.

A couple of Q & A's. You didn't say how big the parts were; however, the bottom line here is a temporary protective coating most likely of either a synthetic or natural oil. The composition of that product coating depends upon how quickly you will be painting. Then you must remove that same coating prior to painting.
